Dr. Sammie Reid

Dr. Sammie Reid accepted Christ when he was sixteen years old.  He has pastored Southern Baptist Churches for over fifty-years.  He believes the Bible is the Word of God.  Dr. Reid believes those who confess their sins and receive Christ as Savior are eternally saved.  Dr. Reid holds the Bachelor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from the Luther Rice College and Seminary.  His preaching style is expository.  Brother Sammie, as he is known by the church family and other friends, believes and practices personal soul winning.  Brother Sammie's wife Shirley went to Heaven in 2009 after a long-battle with cancer.  He has two sons, six grandchildren and one great-grand child.
